HOW DOES IPL WORK?
The SmoothSkin Bare+ works by transferring light energy through the skin's surface with 100 flashes per minute.
The melanin in the hair shaft absorbs the light energy, and this same light energy converts to heat energy below the skin's surface. This stops hairs from growing back.

HOW TO USE
Step 1: Shave the treatment area.
Step 2: Place the device onto the skin ensuring full contact.
Step 3: The device will scan your skin and only emit flashes if your skin tone is suitable.
Step 4: Select the Glide Mode and move the device continously over the treatment area.
Step 5: Use the Stamp Mode to treat smaller areas such as the underarms.
Step 6: Apply moisturiser after your treatment.

Can you use SmoothSkin Bare Plus on the face? Yes, SmoothSkin Bare Plus is safe to use on facial areas. Stamp mode is used to help treat delicate areas such as the upper lip and the chin, making it easier to deliver precise, targeted hair removal. Is it suitable for me? SmoothSkin Bare Plus works effectively on most skin and hair types, including skin tones 1-5 and those with dark blonde, brown or black hair. As with all IPL-based treatments SmoothSkin Bare Plus cannot be used to treat white/ grey, very light blonde or red hair, and is unsuitable for use on very dark skin (Fitzpatrick skin tone 6). This is due to the science behind IPL technology, and the need for a clear contrast between the colour of the hair and the skin.
